The
NZPPS conference is New Zealand’s prime venue for the exchange of scientific information on all aspects of plant protection.
Professor Sir Peter Gluckman will open the conference on Tuesday 10 August.
Topics include: fruit, crop and forest pathogens; weeds; pest and beneficial insects; sprays; and biosecurity. The conference also features a lively poster session.
The NZPPS conference takes place on 10-11 August, and is preceded by a symposium on Monday 9 August. The symposium topic is the brown marmorated stink bug.
The NZPPS conference is aligned with the NZ Apples and Pears conference being held in Hastings 11-13 August.
