Southern Hemisphere Research Leaders

Peak Research Ltd is a privately owned company that provides specialist services in agrichemical field research.

The business, based in Havelock North, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, was established in 2003 and is staffed by qualified and experienced personnel with more than 20 years experience in the agriculture and horticulture industries, with a focus on agrichemical research and development.

We carry out a wide range of efficacy and residue work on crops throughout the North Island of New Zealand, and offer off season research for Northern Hemisphere companies.

Our Services

Peak Research Ltd carries out agrichemical efficacy and residue field research for insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, plant growth regulators and fertilisers on a range of crops throughout the North Island of New Zealand.

We operate from our 4 hectare central Research Station in Hawke’s Bay, with multiple trial sites throughout the North Island.

The research is used to generate data for a biological profile of the test compounds for the purpose of registration and sale in New Zealand. Work is carried out with the utmost professionalism, and to the highest scientific standards.

Off Season Work

One great benefit of our Southern Hemisphere location is that we can carry out research for projects during the Northern Hemisphere ‘off season’, allowing for two seasons of work to be completed within 12 months.

  • Efficacy Research

All field projects carried out to meet NZ registration requirements. Small plot efficacy trials on a variety of crops, establishment and assessment of large-scale demonstration trials. All efficacy data analysed using ARM.
