China: Panic selling of apples from cold storage

In recent days, under the influence of many different factors, such as the decline in quality and a market oversupply, producing areas in Yuncheng, Shanxi, and Wuyuan, Shandong have begun to sell the products from cold storage. Especially from the Yuncheng in Shanxi, there is a total chaos, each transaction is performed at a different price. The prices in Wuyuan, Shandong Province are also very unstable. The owners of the cold warehouses, fruit farmers and other sellers can't do anything in this situation, while the buyers are very relaxed and can negotiate a lower price easily.
Apple market
Three main reasons for the urgent sales:
1. The market will soon enter the traditional stage of low apple sales.
2. The quality of the apples from the cold storages is lower. With the increase in temperature, the quality of film bags and paper-coated apples begin to decline. It is particularly noticeable in the Yuncheng area of Shanxi.
3. The supply in the production areas was greater than in the same period of previous years. At the same time, the speed of the transportation was too slow.
