The winter season is upon Washington State! Winter is an especially vital time for Washington growers as the mountains fill with snow that will soon melt to fill the lakes and rivers for the 2020 growing season. Dave Gleason, Horticulturist and Proprietary Variety Developer, explains in the latest orchard update how this slower season is crucial for planning. The Superfresh Growers farm team uses this time to analyze the previous harvest and discuss how they can improve for the coming crop.
