What percent of the U.S. fruit supply is imported?

It is a question that we can answer with statistics from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service Fruit and Tree Nut Data.

As the graph shows, the long-term trend reveals an increasing supply of imports to meet domestic demand for fruit.

Though some fruits are stubbornly domestic (cranberries) and some fruit has always been dominated by imports (bananas), many citrus and noncitrus fruit have seen a steady climb in imports as a percent of the total supply.
