JAZZ™ announces its national sponsorship of The Color Run, the happiest 5k on the planet.

With 40+ events across the US in 2019, The Color Run is an untimed 5 kilometer run during which Color Runners are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder at each kilometer mark. Once the race is over, the fun continues at the Finish Festival, a larger-than-life party equipped with music, dancing, photo ops, activity booths, vendors, and more.

The Color Run sponsorship is just one way that JAZZ™ is delivering turn-key promotional opportunities that will drive traffic to retail stores, inspire sales and repeat purchases, and keep JAZZ™ apples top-of-mind year-round. Featured as the official post-run snack at all 2019 events, JAZZ™ projects that more than 150,000 samples of the apple will be shared with consumers in major markets such as New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and Seattle, among others. Additionally, JAZZ™ will coordinate retail programs to align with The Color Run events to include demos, promotional ads and specials, and in-store displays.

In approximately half of the event markets, JAZZ™ is partnering with retail customers to host The Color Run’s packet pick-up events, bringing exposure and thousands of shoppers to retailers’ stores in advance of the colorful 5k runs.

“The Color Run sponsorship enables us to offer our retail customers an exciting promotional opportunity that illustrates our commitment to increasing demand for JAZZ™ apples through consumer marketing initiatives that also deliver on retail objectives,” said Danelle Huber, marketing specialist for CMI Orchards.

To further drive JAZZ™-loving shoppers to retail customers’ stores, JAZZ™ launched an interactive store locator on jazzapple.com.

“We hear from so many consumers via our social media platforms, website form submissions, and email who are actively searching for stores where they can purchase JAZZ™ apples,” said Brock Nemecek, regional marketing manager for T&G Global. “Our adoption of Destini Store Locator technology not only simplifies that search for JAZZ™ fans, but also shortens the distance between purchase intent and the all-important cash register ring in-store.”

JAZZ™ is a trademarked apple brand owned by T&G Global headquartered in New Zealand. Working alongside T&G and offering JAZZ™ apples, are its three in-market sales agents, Oppy, Rainer Fruit Company and CMI Orchards.
