The Act and Regulations for bringing the India NZ FTA apple quota into being have now been published, with entry into force also confirmed as 22 October 2026.
If you are an exporter who is a member of NZAPI you don’t need to do anything at this stage, as we already have your information on file.
If you are not a member of NZAPI, but wish to export to India in 2027 please email trade@applesandpears.nz and provide the copy and information italicised below:

We expect to open registrations and applications for India quota on or around the 22nd of October, after Entry Into Force. You will be notified directly, and notice will be put in the Monday newsletter, and on the front page of the NZAPI Website
