NZAPI will be running a Skill Up Workshop for Packhouse and Orchard Staff in the new year, to help get ready for the harvest season ahead.
This session is for Orchard QCs, Packhouse phytosanitary staff, and anyone keen to learn more about pest and disease. The workshop will be run in small groups with hands-on training and discussion.
Workshop - Pest and disease identification in the orchard and packhouse
9.30am - 12 noon
This session will discuss:
• Rot Identification
• Pest Identification
• Seasonal updates (attending this will meet the Phytosanitary Course - Seasonal Update Module requirement)
Attendees are welcome to stay for a BBQ lunch following the workshop.
