Ukrainian apples harvested this year may be exported to India, which has decided to open its market, subject to the established phytosanitary conditions, announced the UkrSadProm Association.

 

 

This agreement rewards the efforts of the UkrSadProm Association, which for several years has increased its participation in international fairs, particularly in Asia, in order to develop its foreign markets.

 

 

 

"The opening of the Indian market for Ukrainian apples is a No.1 event, not only for producers, but for Ukraine as a whole. India is able to fully replace the Russian market, which has been the the main sales market for Ukrainian apples since 2014 "said Dmytro Krochka, UkrSadProm.

 

 

 

In the 2017/18 season, Ukrainian apple producers exported 40,000 tonnes of fruit, 3.2 times more than in 2016/17.
